“Edit and Update Tables” command in Logopress3 (for Hole Tables & for BOM)
If you have a Logopress3 hole table already done for a part, and then you add or change some holes in the part that this hole table references, when you open that drawing file containing the hole table you will get the SolidWorks message saying:
The document has changed:
Do you want to update the tables?
Hole Table”x”
First it is important to note that this is a SolidWorks message that Logopress3 has no control of.
Second, it is important to note that it is a Logopress3 hole table that you are dealing with and not a SolidWorks hole table. (There are many benefits to the Logopress3 hole tables and that is why we use them.)
Therefore it is important to answer No to this question, which will close the window that popped up asking the question.
You should then use the Logopress3 command called “Edit and Update Tables” when you are in the drawing that contains this hole chart. This command found under the Logopress3 pull down menu, or quicker yet, found on the Logopress3 Command Manager tab.
The same is true for the Logopress3 Bill of Materials (BOM). (There are many benefits to the Logopress3 BOM and that is why we use it.)
When you need to edit or update a Logopress3 BOM you should do it by using this same command called “Edit and Update Tables“.
