     Welcome to Accurate Die Design, Inc.  Our niche had always been progressive die design, transfer die design, draw die design and fineblank die design, with some special machine design as well.  For years we have provided and continue to provide an accurate and timely stamping die design service that allows you to build dies faster and more profitably.

     In addition to die design services, we have also become a major provider of the latest software for our industry.  This includes both 3D die design software and forming analysis software.  As our die design business has evolved, we've had to sort through various software packages in order to remain competitive.  We've realized we are now in a unique position to provide the software, training and support that other die designers need to do their jobs in today's competitive marketplace while at the same time continuing to use it in our day to day business.

     Our die designers are also our support staff.  Who could provide better support than someone who uses the software in a production environment on a daily basis?  One of our die designers has been working in the die design field for 15 years.  The other served as both a die maker and a die designer and has over a dozen years in the industry.  Personally, I've spent 29 years in the tool and die and metal stamping industries.  That time was spent working in four different areas: tool and die making (15 years), progressive die design and fineblank die design, managing a tool room and design department, and sales.  Working in all of these areas has allowed me to see many of the same problems you're likely to see on a day to day basis, putting us in a good position to understand your stamping die design and software needs.  I'm confident that you will appreciate our quality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

We are very proud to be the Logopress3 Technical Center and distributor for the U.S.A.  Logopress3 is a 3D progressive die design solution for SolidWorks and is a Gold Certified SolidWorks Solution Partner.  Logopress' only business since 1989 has been developing progressive die design software.  As the leading 2D die design solution in France, they decided in 1997 to develop a 3D solution and in 2000 chose SolidWorks as the program to integrate into.  With a large full time staff now dedicated 100% to this 3D solution, their 17 years of experience developing progressive die design software shows very clearly in their product.  Logopress3 is available in 4 modules: one dedicated to unfolding/unbending, the second adds flattening, the third adds strip layout capability, and the fourth adds full tool creation along with a huge standard component library.

Another product, 123GO, is a mechanical fastener library (more importantly, it is a tool to cut the holes in for these fasteners faster than any other way possible) for SolidWorks that is included in Logopress3, but is also available as a standalone package and only costs $390!.  It cuts all holes in all plates regardless of the number of stacked plates automatically at the same time as it inserts the fastener and adds the mates.  Optionally, you can choose to only insert the first instance of the fastener to reduce overhead in your assembly.  It includes numerous automatic patterning tools and I guarantee that it will speed your creation of fastener holes in plates by five to ten times!!

     We are also very proud to be a reseller for the excellent estimating and forming analysis software products developed by FTI (Forming Technologies Incorporated).  Their most popular products are FASTFORM ADVANCED and FASTBLANK.  Please go to our download page if you'd like to download a fully functional copy of FASTBLANK or FASTFORM ADVANCED to evaluate for seven days.  These products are extremely easy to use and require very little training.  You can learn how to use the products in a matter of hours, and that's not an exaggeration.  They accurately predict such things as the flat blank shape, material thinning and gathering, wrinkling, and part failure.  The price and ease of use of these products is finally well within range of even the smallest tool and die facilities and metal stampers.  The flat blank prediction software is an excellent tool to use in the die design stage to drastically reduce the time spent in the development stage, but it has also become very popular and time saving in the area of estimating.  Companies are finding themselves doing more estimating than ever before relative to the quantity of awarded jobs.  This software not only significantly speeds up the process, but also puts the estimator at ease knowing he has an accurate flat blank to work with in his estimation process along with having and idea of the formability of the part.  He also knows that he won't be quoting the material usage 10% too low causing him to get the job and lose money or 10% too high causing him to lose the job.
